How do I maximize my search?

Try using terms that are fairly broad such as Mug or Glass. Also try more than one option such as Mug and Mugs.

You can also search by color such as "Blue". This will bring up images and products that have blue products as an options! (Don't forget Cobalt).

When searching for a specific item use the item number from past catalogs and search specifically for that item. Looking in the Catagories is also a great way to find items.

How do I place an online order?

Please Note: You must be a registered Concepts Plus customer and be logged in to place an order.

To get started please upload the appropriate art if you have not already done so. This can be achieved by following the instruction given in the Decoration & Art section of the website located on the lower left side bar.
  1. First open the item you wish to order and decide what color you would like (If there is more than one color option) and select it from he drop down menu in the “Color” section.
  2. Now select a ship date. The website automatically defaults to 3 weeks so you may need to move it further away for decal decorations.
  3. Now select a quantity, be sure to check the minimum quantity for that item and be aware that extra charges will be added for orders below that quantity.
  4. You may now select any additional options that may be available with the item (such as coffee or a saucer). Simply check the box next to any options you would like added and the charge will be added per item.
  5. If you have any special instructions to enter at this point do so in the Special Instructions section. For example, if you would like an add-on inserted.
  6. Now select a decoration method if more than one is available. (If there is already decoration pricing visible it means that there is only one decoration available with the item and you can continue to the next step.
  7. You may now select any additional options such as a halo or paper proof.
  8. Now select a decoration location (there may be only one available). Then select your preloaded art. (If you are unsure of what location to choose please refer to our Decoration and Art section.)
  9. After selecting your art you can specify art size and art colors if they are different than those loaded with the art. You can also select the Halo or Metallic Imprint colors if applicable.
  10. Once all of the information for the order has been entered it is a good idea to click get price to review the information and pricing. If everything looks correct click “Add to Cart” at the bottom of the page. If changes are required then make them and click “Get New Price”.

After the order has been added to your cart you may continue shopping or go to checkout. Please see the section about checking out for more information on this.

What location should I choose for my decoration?

The locations for decorations are formatted to give you the most possible options when ordering online.

The following is an explaination of each location and what it should be used for.

  • Side One: This is the standard placement on a coffee mug. If placed on Side One an imprint will be facing a right handed drinker. Use this option for a basic imprint on a handled item. Art will be within the dimensions shown next to the location.
  • Side Two: This is the opposite of Side One. An imprint placed on Side Two will face a left handed drinker. This option is useful for a unique placement on a handled item. Art must fit within the dimensions shown next to the location.
  • Opposite Handle: If placed opposite handle the image will not face the drinker using either hand but will be centered off to the side. This is also a unique placement option on handled items. Art must fit within the dimensions shown next to the location.
  • Wrap: The wrap option is useful for large art that is very wide. It can cover Side One, Side Two and the Opposite Handle area. This may not be available on all handled items. Art must fit within the dimensions shown next to the location which will be significantly larger than that of Side One.
  • Side 1 and 2 - Same: This location is for imprints that will appear on both sides but have the same image. When uploading art for this imprint only include the image once. The image must fit within the dimensions listed next to it (the same as Side One). We will duplicate and place the image on opposite sides.
  • Side 1 and 2 - Different: This is a slightly more complex decoration that has a different image on both sides of the mug. This will generally have the same imprint size as a wrap . When uploading art please place both pieces of artwork in one file and upload as one location. Please be explicit as to what art goes on which side. We will seperate and place them appropriately. (If uploaded seperately on Side One and Side Two you will be charged extra screens that are not necessary.)
  • Front: This simply refers to the art being centered on the front of the item if there are no other options. Art must fit within the dimensions shown next to the location.

There may be several other location names that are product specific but in all cases art must fit within the dimensions given.

How do I upload art for Ordering or Virtual Samples?
Concepts Plus on-line ordering allows registered shoppers to upload your art directly to the site for use in ordering. You can also have a preview image for use in virtual samples of our products.

Preview/ Virtual Proof image: Please be sure that your preview image is in either .gif or .jpg format and is approximately 370x370 or smaller and in RGB color format (this is the internet standard).

Art File for Production: Art for production purposes should be Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or Encapsulated Post Script (.eps) format. They also need to be in vector format.

Once you have appropriate art you can click on “My Account” and then select “Art Library.” You will now have a page with any art you already have loaded on it and a “Add New Art” button. Click this.Once in the “Add New Art” section you can enter a name for the art in the “Art Name” field. You may also enter information into the reference field for your own information but we do not require it.

Next select the total number of spot colors in the art from the drop down menu in the “Logo- Colors & Sizes” section and select “Update”. This loads the correct number of fields for the art color selection process.(If you have a specific size the art should be you can enter it in the size field in the section or you can specify it during ordering if the size is product specific).

Now click on the drop down menus with “Select Color” in them. Clicking on this will show you all our available standard ink colors. Select the color you would like and then click the >> arrow to save it. If you have any additional comments on the ink color you can enter it in the reference line below.

After entering all the colors you may add any additional comments or instructions in the “Art Special Instructions” field. Then go down to the “Art Image File” section to actually upload your art. Use the “Browse…” buttons to locate the appropriate files on your computer. (Please note: you do not need to have a preview image for ordering or an art file if you only need virtual proofs.) Once you have ensured all the information is accurate click the “Save & Submit” button to add the art to your Art Library. You can then use your art for Virtual Proofs and Ordering.

If at a later date you wish to edit your art you can do so by returning to the Art Library and clicking edit next to the art you would like to change.
